Quite bleak here now quite cloudy with what seems to be soft hail at times, most of this mornings snow has melted

Snowing in Bristol. It is starting to stick as well. Changing from hail like snow to large flakes and small flakes. Currently small flakes but skies are getting darker again :p

Welcome to net-weather TD.

Its snowing here in Darwen right now, while its sunny with blue skies.

It is falling out of one of many mid level cumulus clouds I have forming here right now.

Hi everyone, Been snowing quite heavily here since 2pm and now there is 2cm covering.

Sky still looks full of it. Will be quite tricky this evening as it all turns to ice!

The 15.00 radar from the met office shows the main band of snow in the west coming a little bit further east than i expected. Not far enough for fun and games i dont think but is still snowing lightly at the mo!

Well Norwich has been largely dry, but cloudy since lunchtime. We did get a few short snow showers but really amounted to nothing. Here hoping that snow just off the north coast comes this way pretty soon.

Moderate snow shower in Lancaster, not enough to produce anything of significance, but the inherent coldness of our airmass was reflected by the fact that it still managed to settle on some concrete surfaces.

heavy snow, 4 inches on the ground - came home from university early (Was sunny in Cardiff when I left - have since been told it was snowing).. Entering Cynon Valley, snow became heavy and blizzard-like, roads are becoiming impassable, hills are impossible - had to walk the last mile home. If you havnt already left for home, stay in work.

Heads of valley roads is closed.

Bus services in merthyr/aberdare area are now non-existant.

Main ambulance routes also seem to be impassable, so take care.

After an hour of flurries and soft hailish stuff it is now snowing heavily in big fat flakes and settling :(:(

Local forecaster at lunchtime said there wouldn't be much but it's dangerous and fun none the less!
