1C in Lancaster, clear intervals and snow showers, snow settling to 1-2cm already on untreated surfaces, although only partly covering the grass.

The question seems to be, not will there be a snow cover at 0900 GMT, but how much will there be.

Snow easing off now, 2.5cm average depth level snow. Everything completely covered. Most of it fallen in last 45 minutes. Gusty winds and drifting against the back door.

Hoping for 10cm by 0900.

Very disappointed. Started off great but died a and has not stuck as well as I hoped it would. Still, at least I saw snow falling from the sky. Rather sad now.
