Looks like this could be quite prolonged.

Hasn't started here yet, but the temperature has risen from -0.5 to +0.7c in less than an hour. Only a matter of miles away now.

Snowing lightly (very lightly), was a slight (mm) covering on road but now its been blown away as roads are still dry

Just hope we get a good old dumping at some point :?

That is weird coffee23-Norwich is suffering very heavy snow-showers must be moving SW and avoiding the norther parts of Norfolk. But as the crow flies you are not that far away.

Still coming down thick and fast-sounds like the airport have the clearing equipment out now!

Well a bit of a light snow shower and thats it. Whoopee do. The precipitation seems to have fragmented north of me.

3 hours of moderate snow here, for 1 1/2 hours everything was wet, and there was barely no settling at all but then all of a sudden it's started to settle, and it's STILL snowing

Must be a couple of cm's out there

P.S. If we are at school tomorrow, the teachers had better let us play in it, during the 'Big Freeze' at the end of January we weren't allowed to play on the field at all. But we found our ways around it, e.g, just playing in it anyway

AT 9am this morning there was 4-5 inches of level snow, but the sun got at it, and there are bits left in the shade, couple of inches though. So I am jealous.

Seriously where does the lying snow start, I'm off tomorrow so I might just go a few miles to see some snow, if we don't get any more here that is.

'Where does the lying snow start'

mmm.....I assume you mean where is the borderline between where the snow end and where it sarts.

Good question.I really dont know. But if you want some really good snow where you can go for a good walk or even ski, then go to the Brecon Beacons because there is well over a foot there.

Hope that helps!
