how isnt it apparently its 9c here ( as if) and if you want to really relay on the metos live weather stations your never going to get anywhere i think its best to relay on the one in your own garden..... and what should you lot care about what i like ITS WINTER remember!

edit: aswell as that it has cleared here a couple of hours earlier so that is why i mentioned frost aswell as this amanda just showed how unrealying meto can be!

No it isn't it's autumn - the transition season from summer to winter. Winter begins on December 1st - another 3 weeks away yet.

A sunny start but soon clouded over. A very heavy band of rain has just come through which made for a 'lovely' ride home with a lot of standing stinking water everywhere (drain overflows giving it a smell) and very heavy traffic. Wet surfaces took visibility down further than usual. At least rain was light by time I set off!

Dude... There is heavy rain and windy conditions 50 miles to your west! A frost can't occur in windy conditions anyway. The Met O sometimes isnt reliable on there forecasts but you can certainly trust there live weather stations.

A day of two halves here. This morning was mostly clear with long sunny periods, it then clouded over during the afternoon with some heavy rain this evening. Its been the mildest day for some time too, with a max this evening of 10.1C after a low this morning of 5.9C.

The current temperature is 9.1C and the rain has just stopped. Total rainfall today is 12.5mm.

A fairly dismal sort of a day - very much seems to be reflective of the nature of posts in this forum today, however, on the plus side we have been saved any real heavy rain.

Tomorrow looks half decent with the rain not arriving until the evening, but I'd much rather be staring at the prospects of a day like Monday just gone, going by the outlook it looks a long time until we will see such a day again.
