The band of heavy rain is just about to hit London (and me), wind has really picked up now, with bins and trees struggling right now.

Looks like the heavy rain band will only last a few minutes according to the latest radar, but still something to be wary of...Take care all and enjoy.

Just had to cycle home in this from work....and OMG.

The wind is absolutley mental! Loud gusts and sheets of wind driven rain is bringing visibility to virtually zero.

I had to come over a small hill to get home and you could not see anything past 200yards or so apart from streaks of rain, fast moving clouds and the faded traffic lights in the distance, it was utterly amazing, although not good to be out in it mind you lol! ¬.¬

Strong winds and heavy gusts of wind now, with the main band of rain still yet to hit fully.

Its been windy here all night with strong gusts, a bit of spitting rain as well, but the main band yet to arrive
