I am surprised the met office have kept there weather warnings limited to wales and a small area of the north west??

That band of ppn heading towards somerset/devon/dorset area looks quite nasty and we have already got some gale force winds here at present although i cannot say how strong because my whole weather station has come down this evening. I can feel a nasty expensive repair bill.... all i have is an indoor reading left

An overcast day with some light rain this morning. There were then a few breaks this evening. Mild again with a temperature at present of 12.5C - the highest so far today. Just 0.5mm of rain so far, but that will undoubtably change within the next hour or so when that squall line passes over.
