Not bad for Christmas Day I suppose. It didn't rise above -1.6C during the day, and it's now back to nearly -6.

Lovely pictures OON.

It amazes me how the bookies don't class lying snow as a white christmas. We've got lying snow here at christmas for the first time in many a year and it's just strange its not classed officially as a white christmas.

Here are some from today, had a fantastic walk, lovely clear blue skies! The first lot were taken in Uppermill and the rest in the Dovestones area, it was lovely up there it looked like the Alps! only not as tall obviously lol.

Stunning pics James, well captured. Really nice to see Dovestones looking like that, I've only been brave enough to go up during the summer lol :smiliz19:

Thought I would add these that I took this afternoon with my mobile on my way back from the co-op.

The first one is of the River Irvine from the 'Muckle Brig' in Galston, the other two are on the short cut at the back of the store

That picture is indescribable and my all time favourite so far :smiliz19:

There's still plenty of ice and snow here.
