Light sleet now, but is that NE wind picking-up? Could be good for later??? :D

Drip, drip, all morning here. Not much left apart from big melting piles. Apparently been snowing lots around Dingwall this morning. I hope the temp drops this afternoon before it all goes...

sleety snizzle here, though the dew point has dropped to 0.5C now so I expect it to be a bit better in the afternoon.

Well I know where it is but where the hell did it come from? :o When I checked this morning there was nothing on the radar to speak of. Throwing it down here and has been for the last half hour. We have easy accumulated an inch.

Well we've had a snow shower at 11ish and the sky looked very black way over towards the Firth of Forth but as yet no more snow. Still lots of snow cover and quite cloudy.

Yes! Heavy snow now falling here, struggling a bit to accumulate but if it keeps up then it'll definitely settle.

I see that shower on the radar has really come alive as it moved into Fife.

Hopefully snowing at my house.

Hi. Strange thing is though, dewpoint 1.3 and temp of 1.4. Should it be snowing? - not that I'm complaining: :yahoo:

Cannot believe the difference in the weather..we took a trip down to the Braehead shopping centre this morning..and there is no snow whatsoever..patchy ice/snow thats it.

Soon as your on the M77 past Silverburn..white again.

There is easily 4-5" of lying snow up here and its currently belting it down.
