Good Morning All,

No more snow here overnight,

-4°C and a freezing mist tho.

I'm hoping it'll be still white for

Christmas, but must confess, I'll have had

enough of such cold and tricky moving around

conditions beyond that !

We're only just into Winter though I know.

LoL

BL

Yeah, I noticed the showers getting going, with the landfall over Liverpool and heading over Manchester - these put me in the direct firing line, if it wasn't for the Peninnes :good:

The hills are blocking most of the showers, they hit them and just disappear!!

Current temp is -1 overnight low was -6.3

DP -2.4

The forecast says 'SNOW', but we need that ppn to make it over the hills first :)

Currently Very heavy snow here. The winds changed direction and we are now in the main firing line.

Given the amount thats falling this should get a fair bit past the Pennines so should make north Leeds / Bradford I would expect.

Yep, those showers are now starting to make it over the hills, we're just starting in the bottom end of that blob of ppn you're in

Can anyone advise me on which winds to watch on the NW Radar. I always track the showers but have noticed if i select the drop down menu i get a list of wind's i can add to the map to show direction.

We've got a couple of inches on the ground at the moment. The main roads are all clear, but some of the side roads still have some snow and ice on them.
