Well not a particularly promising forecast for the S and W of the country to be honest but you can see the possibility there, particularly come friday as the snow moves in from the continent

But im fairly sure things will be more widespread than progged currently

The BBCi player works OK on Countrytracks. Looking great if you are in the S.E, we just seem to be

clipping the showers, but then he mentions that it may sink south, so the Sea and the French will

get it instead :)

I once caught a fish Thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiissssssss big.

His hand gestures were very rough and considering like what Ian points out. The models show it and their forecasters have "tweaked" it to show what they think will happen.

he points out that it would be |-----| deep or |------------------------------------------------| deep.

So there is evidently a lot of uncertainty .

All we can hope for is

1- The cold front that moves south has more ppn for us than expected and (1.a) That ist cold enough for snow here ( unlikely )

2- That the snow that hits the SE from the LP is further north and brings stuff further west ( maybe?, Its a week off? )

Yep just watched the forecast, ties in with what Joe B was saying regarding significant snowfall in the east.

Always looks marginal for us out in the south west. Even talk of rain for us on Tuesday before turning to snow on Wednesday.

It would be a huge disappointment is we saw no snow t all this coming week.

That link doesnt work.

Whats the outlook for the South West atm?

Not great.

Its a week away mind for the "main event" so anything could happen.
