I came home yesterday afternoon to find this scene literally on my doorstep. It flew off when I got out of the car but came back once I'd gone inside. It didn't seem too bothered that I was watching, even though I was only about 2m away. Anyway I couldn't miss a photo opportunity!

Anyone know what it is? Sparrow hawk?

Yes a female sparrowhawk, and her victim looks like a collared dove.

Would have preferred it to have been one of the winged rats.
