No precipitation here, unfortunately. However, temps and Dew Points look spot on at:

Temp 1c and Dew poin -2c.

Pleased to here others in our region are seeing snow. Full marks to the NMM which was spot on once again

Edit: It would appear that I was misinformed. We have in fact got light drizzle here.

That's the last time I'm going to rely on the MRS for weather info :)

We had a band of slight drizzle about an hour ago of which just a little was frozen.

If NW radar ppn type is to be believed low lying eastern areas are getting snow from the same band and the dividing line between rain, sleet and snow seems to be moving gradually westwards.

There is another band of ppn coming in from the west but I suspect that will be rain too. Temp here is +2.5°C, dew point at Buxton is +2.0°C - 30 minutes ago at Donnis Nook they were 1/-3 so definitely colder in the east.

Quite heavy snow here now. Small flakes and too mild to lay though, currently 1.9C. Dewpoint -0.4C.

Edit: Very heavy now and starting to lay!

Good to hear Reef, I'd imagine the Pennines will be doing very well in the next 10 days given the flow thats expected, wouldn't surprise me to see some of the highest grounds getting a foot of the white stuff over the next 2 weeks if the evolution I expect pulls off...

Its not really laying on the pavements due to the temperature, but nicely on cars and grass.

It has stopped now and melted as fast as it fell, but nice to see nonetheless.

Its turning out to be a rather cold day aswell with a max of just 1.9C so far.
