A bright and sunny start here with bits of AcCas and AcFlo around, quite warm in the sun and humid though when there is a breath of breeze, it does feel a bit fresher. By the by, it is 17.4C at present.

Cooler? Not so sure, currently 20.4c after an overnight low of 17.2c

Currently overcast but the sun is attempting to break through the cloud.

Radar shows a lot of heavy rain over the North of France but not sure if its coming this way or not.

Guest North Sea Snow Convection

A few heavy showers with a small scattering of flashes and cracks of thunder but it turned out a fair bit better than I had anticipated (and had been predicted) and my hope that the worst of the storms would pass up the channel/north coast of France appears to have happened by looking at the radar sequencesmile.gif

Much the same here at the most easterly point.....15.4, DP10.2, humidity rising with 8/8's, though trying to dissipate.:(

Two intense thunderstorms - one around 11 last night and one at 6 this morning. A lot of strikes last night and some very hefty rain to go with it. This morning was less thundery but rain heavier (you can definitely tell the difference when you have a window over your bed!). Reports fo flash flooding in the area - no surprise at all with that kind of intensity of rain.

Now a muggy 17.9c and overcast.

Seems the early morning heat rise has tempered off. Was 22.8c an hour or so ago, now its still cloudy but dropped to 21.9c.

BBC say around 22c today with a chance of a shower, which seems pretty accurate so far.
