Only light rain detected here overnight, low a very mild 14.4c. There were some sunny spells, but showers and thunderstorms developed quickly in the area through the morning and continued well in to the afternoon and evening with some heavy ones in some spots, but this location missed the worst of it, the heavy and prolonged storms stayed to the south of this station.. Still on the warm side, though it become much cooler with a rapid drop from a maximum of 19.4c around 3pm to 12.8c at 18:00hrs.

A lovely, cool sunny and very clear early autumn's day today. I could see Ben More (I think) on the way home which is about 40 miles away.
