Hey everyone. I'm finally all packed. Tom, I nearly forgot my dorothy shoes!

Going through tech now. Pretty sure I had 2 camera batteries last year but only have one now. Very confusing as its all in the bag where I left it. hmm maybe I'm imagining I did . . . .

Same problem!

Had 4 batteries last year, one died, so bought a replacement, now I only have two, weird.

It's a bit like me putting my socks into the washing machine.

I have two feet and wear a sock on each, so TWO socks go in the washing machine.

But

Only one's comes out, weird

Praise the Lord that you didn't forget the shoes. We need them in case we want them to feature in the daily highlights again.

Johnny boy

You are going to have to train the person that you are sharing with to fetch you coffee in the morning.

My camcorder has arrived. Phew...that was a close call. I ordered it last week and forgot about all the bank holidays coming up. So happy. One less thing to worry about.

Anyon else on my flight. 11.20 a.m. from Heathrow on the Thursday ?

YAY :D

I think most of us are on the BA flight at 11.25.

I'll also be in the bar at the hotel tomorrow night if anyone wants to join me? :drinks:

Not sure what time yet - depends on number of factors including vets, boyfriend and trains.....

Oh well not long now ! cases all packed, just need to start packing the lap top away. Need everything ready for a quick turn around tomorrow evening. I get away from work 5pm sharpish. My daughter is taking me to the station to catch a 18.36 train to Manchester where i will spend a couple of hours with my parents and then gadge a lift to the airport with about 5 hours before check in opens. I guess I will sleep on the flight/Flight is now 7.20 arriving at Heathrow T5 8.30 ish. As far as I am aware my cases are booked right through to DFW.

Got to try and have and have an early night as I need to leave by 7 a.m. to get down to Heathrow. Tomorrow's going to be a looong day. I'll need a good drink at the end of it. See you all at the check in tomorrow.

Phew

Suitcase is at 22.5 kilos just under the 23 kilo allowance :whistling:

Jo is there any chance you could put my Windscreen suction cup in your case as that will tip me over by about 1 Kilo ??

Packed, hoping to hell my scales are accurate as, following some last minute swapping of items between the two bags, the main bag is 22 1/2 kg which makes my hand luggage 10kg! Hope I don't have to carry that around too much  Checked in. It'll sink in eventually I'm sure. Probably when I get to T5 tomorrow and see everyone else. Still, I'll be more comfortable once we get through Security at Arrivals in DFW. I've just got this horrible thought that they'll say 'No, you're not coming in.' :help::cray::wallbash:

Anyway, what on earth happened to the need to be there 3 hours before your flight?

Here we go then. :drinks:

What is it now then?

I haven't checked in yet, is it over three hours?

Can we go to Memphis this year, I'm keen to know "Has Elvis left the building?"

Last year we saw the Presidents, so maybe this year we will see the king :80:

No problem :pardon: I got loadsa room.

Done online check in. Seat 39k I think.

I always get to the airport 3 hours before and in the past I have found it means you get through security etc quicker as the queues are bigger the later you go. Personally I'd rather be in the pub with drink for an hour or two than suck in a queue for that long!

Do we want a time to meet or should we just meet in the weatherspoons whenever?
