Clear periods and another severe frost last night. A little more snow added, and with thick fog later.

Foggy until 0900, then mainly cloudy and very cold. Snow, heavy at times from about 10-1200 gave a 5cm covering. Light north breeze.

I was caught in the snow in Carmarthen this morning, my road was blocked, so I had to go the (very) long way round which took 2 1/2 hours including the 45 minutes standstill on the outskirts of Carmarthen! Worst hits areas had about 4 inches.

Clear to foggy this evening, severe frost again. Quite remarkable weather for November!
