Temperature rose to 0.7C briefly this morning, but soon dropped back below zero. Dropped to -6.2 at tea time, but now back up to -2.3C with frequent snow showers adding to the 4-5 inches we got last night, with practically no thaw.

a fairly mundane coldish day became something close on unique through this evening, snow moderate to heavy for much of the time 1730-2230=13cm of new snow and white wonderland, not easy on the roads as I discovered on a 4 mile drive from town a few minutes ago.
