OK, not fantastic pics but some of severe weather all the same, the first is heading S on the I29 from Sioux City towards a severe storm....

This one shows an updraft on the N side of the developing storm..

Lightning was kicking off behind but I had to turn around and take a pic of the sun lightning up underneath the anvil......

Yet another of the vivid contrast between beauty of mother nature and the hell that was breaking loss behind us - we could not get that much closer due to poor road network...

A rainbow - there was CG behind but I am not quite used to my camera yet!

Yes, some lightning, not fantastic - a bit far and most was obscured by a veil of rain - will get more today - but where?

What a stunning contrast between the jet black and the bright sky on the 1st picture :)

On the lightning picture what are the green and orange sparks coming off the ground :?:

I think it's taken form a video camera, so the smudges are just lights in the distace :) (i think)

Probably- it's a bit much to expect that they're electric discharge rising from the ground!
