The storm chase begins today, and as in previous years we'll be streaming it all live. This year we've got some extra gadgets in place to try and maximise the mobile signal etc, so hopefully any drop outs will be kept to an absolute minimum!

We've also got live chat on the page (using facebook) which the team will try to get on when they can..

It's not live all of the time, you need to wait until they have it switched on and the message on the page will say it's online. It's running currently.

Hi Paul, stream says online, but but the stream is constantly stuck on the 'loading' screen....Checked my settings, doesn't seem to be any issues...any ideas mate?

Hmmm at the moment I can get the live stream but the part that connects to Facebook isn't loading nor is the GPS map. However lovely clear picture in the stream!

Edit: Reloaded the page and got the map now, but not the FB comments part. Doesn't surprise me actually, knowing how slow FB can be at times.

Unfortunately they're running on one connection currently as the mobile internet co messed up the delivery of the internet connectors, so it's going to drop out more than we'd like until they can get the additional connectivity early next week.

Update: They're currently having lunch but forgot to mark the stream as offline - will be back on when they've eaten and are on the road again.

Ok cheers for that Paul, like I say it was brilliant when it first came on, and then it just suddenly stopped without warning.

Nice clear picture now - the radar images in the area look intense! :shok:
