A clear fresh morning here with just a touch of small Cu. The cold front and occlusion are though and moving slowly east. The main rain is currently in Scotland but should clear during the morning. Would appear to be likely that some heavy showers will develop in the west, perhaps thundery, but the east remaing dry until later. Temp here is 9.6C with a light S. wind. Looks like we will be under the influence of the depression to the west for a wee while.

the sun beginning to break through various cloud layers after the most rain in my back garden in months, just 0.1mm more than the previous high in February (10.9mm), 11.0mm, so suspect some places around here got quite a drop more. Temp is 15.8C after a muggy low of 14.6C

After a brief heavy shower first thing, the sun has now come out and it is feeling decidedly clammy

Bone dry here in Norwich again - if there was any rain around these parts then it missed my garden (or, rather, my garden is REALLY missing it!).

Amazing watching the bands of rain either slide right past us to the west or split apart as they reach us here in Eastern part of East Anglia.

And looks like nothing in the pipeline either for us(again this may be literal before too long if this dry weather keeps up!).

The mean max for Heathrow Airport was a massive 19.6c. Just 0.1c below the mean max for July 1980.
