Currently?

At around 6.20 I heard about 3 rumbles of thunder - didn't see any lightning but I'm further south in Bucks than the other poster. No rain but it woke the kids up!

The thunder we've just heard was distant, but very deep - must've been nice for someone :).

Sheffield shield shrunk to my post code. Closest any storm got was five miles before being ruthlessly shredded into short heavy showers. Put s89en in the radar and play it back.

Likewise. Didn't witness any lightning either as per Snow Obsession's post. (I'm actually just outside of Dunstable, in Bucks, FWIW.)

Well that was a suprise.

Got woken around 1 ths morning with thunder. Not really close, i'd say around 5/6miles away towards Junction 29 of the M1 motorway though one lightning stike was around 2 miles away.

Around 10 flashes but not sure of the type as we have a house and trees in view of our window
