At 17 you see where the storms form. Then at the most recent you see where they are now. Drawing a line it will hit SE and EA, unless it started on a much more northerly route, and its in the process of taking a much more easterly direction.

Worth keeping an eye on Adi.

It seems to be building slowly so it will be interesting to see how it develops over the coming hours. I am a little surprised how slow that frontal system is moving to the east, The meto had it over the IofW at midnight but it is still way off the IofW.

Just been woken by very loud thunder and can see lightning through the curtains. What a surprise!

Cheers Paul. Is it due to produce much? Still quite long in between thunder and lightning. Its spread a bit though because I've had txts from family in villages 4/5miles away.

Ooohya beauty, check out that huge mass of storms in France! On it's current track that's heading straight for the South East, Kent could get smashed in about 2 hours!

Its in a line stretching all the way up to York and onto Scarborough. Does not look to be intensifying but getting a few deep distant rumbles here
