Coldest night of the Autumn so far last night with a low of 2c, unfortunately was cloudy till 2pm today then clear and sunny the rest of the day with of 15c though felt much cooler.

Currently 9.7c and still clear.

A lovely day - blue clear skies and lots of sunshine with no winds and temps of 16 degrees - very good indeed for mid October. Hope people made the most if it - we won't see any days like this now until at least March, the sun is rapidly loosing is strength now and it quickly becomes very difficult for such days to be achieved.

We are still awaiting out first ground frost, last night saw too much cloud, and unfortunately tonight also will see too much cloud. Wednesday night next week looks like delivering our frist ground frost and quite possibly air frost which often occurs on average around the third week of October. Next week will definately have that proper deep autumnal feel to it, and I am expecting many leaves to be quickly removed, and hopefully some stronger autumnal colours, the recent warm conditions have confused nature, with many leaves sticking firmly to the trees with only a very gradual change in colour.

Hello to all,

Here near Paris a nice deep blue sky with top temp at 15.8c for Orly airport near Paris and pressure at 1024mbar ( 8 to 10 miles) with a minimum of 4.3c and some 0c further out in the suburbs.Tonight just before going to bed it is already 4.9c so it may well be cooler than last night.But tomorrow top temp should be better with 19c forecasted.

Out of subject to all from wales : Welch team did really good much better than France ( France team was just lucky)

Hope to share some good weather to come with wales and France
