12c here, Wind starting to pick up, 52km/h recorded down the road at Biggin. Making a considerable howl between the two blocks of flats.

No rain.... Yet. My Rain Alarm app is going off like the clappers though, so I'm guessing it's incoming! :):good:

Have just been down to Crosby beach and witnessed one hell of a coldfront! Had just arrived and the temperature was 14c. The waves were really amazing braking over the sea wall and fludding the prominade. Then, it started to rain and hail. It was one amazing squall line. At its hight, the hail was torrential, and the waves were braking on cars in the carpark!

The wind viaed from the SSW to the WNW as the front moved through.

I didn't even realise a coldfront was coming but you could tell it was from the way in which it moved through. It's too hard to explain how dramatic it was!

Have just arrived back home and the temp is now 6.9c!

As Backtrack says, really amazing weather.

Cold front just gone through here, rainfall not as notable as further North though; temperature has dropped from 12.2c to 7.6c (currently) in about fifty minutes...

A rather stronger cold front than late brought heavy rain and hail, but very strong winds at around 3pm to 320pm, and the temperature at 320pm fell to 6.9c, rather nice end to the day- hoping for a clearing night...

I think the wind was 30mph+ and the temperature 12C then with heavy rain.

Now its cooled down to 10C, winds down slightly to 28mph and it's only light drizzle now.

Cold front passed through with some moderate rain and gusty winds for a time but nothing spectacular, in fact it was a bit of a let down here tbh. Temperature down to 7.1C from an earlier 13.4C

It's 5.9C out there. The coldest it's been at this time since January last year. I am almost certain of an air frost. The first of the season.

That's if the wind calms down. Still gusting to around 15mph. :(

We've seen max temps lower than that!

Under misty conditions about 2 weeks ago we had a max of around 7C, but it didn't get much lower than that.

Typically the max temperatures have been around 12C almost every day this month. :(

Yeah the month started off at like 15C, then I do believe it got a bit cooler mid-month averaging 10C with a couple of days staying in single figures, although it has recently managed to climb back up to 12 or 13C :( And according to wunderground the lowest daily high for my city in November is 8C! Each November should get a day where it doesn't get over about 5C!

I know, it's rubbish isn't it!

In the last few November's we've had at least 2 ice days. This one has been exceptionally mild. Frankly it's annoyed the crap out of me. :(
