Got it. Colder uppers are spreading in from the West. Clearly evident on the radar.

The band is really intensifying, what I was expecting to be scattered showers is turning into a large band of heavy precipitation.

Cloud is approaching but it won't have any impact on the temperature, it's only a scattered type.

looks like the estuary is def affecting you BT, that could be the only factor right now..i cant really think of anything else

the roads and pavements are trecherous here still got snow about lying around for some more i nexpect its very clear starry cold night so i expect the frost to be about already not a good night to have xmas partys etc travelling will be atrocious procede with caution

there is a reason your warmer than I am currently and the only possible reason for it is the estuary..what else can be keeping your temp up exactly?

im now down to -0.2C, dew point -1.6C, wet Bulb 0.3C

Im getting massive drops in temp everywhere now :)

The cloud is having no impact on the temperature at all, if anything it's still falling - so if the showers do hit, they will be of snow without doubt and they will settle.

well i must say ive never seen the temp fall away this quickly before if ever..well maybe last december when we hit -21C

0.8C now and steady, but no sign of a rise yet. Cloud seems to be trapping the cold air below it, rather than causing rises, which is quite unusual.
