I'm not entirely sure on what the rules are for posting subscribed Radar Returns, but below I've highlighed some areas which seem to show convection is starting to happen

Ok... look here http://www.yr.no/sat..._animasjon.html Move the pointer to the right hand end. That cloud flowing SW from the Eastern tip of kent is in a distinct "streamer" mode!

just been outside for a ciggy and i can see the clouds building in the moonlight..... parky out there.....

Air doesn't feel quite as dry now when taking the rubbish out. Do have the tumble dryer going, mind, venting outside.

Bright moon and stars above but a light bank of cloud over the channel due south with a new blob of precip off the Belgian coast! :)

Just see the beeb on n24 and there keeping an eye on Friday for our part of the region so some heavy snow showers could feature and the further east we are most likely to see significant snowfall on the weekend, I like the sound of that, even though it's still not a dead cert..:good:

Where do you go SS?

Just let the dog out the back door, he went about 10ft then came back in. Can't say I blame him!

It is mighty cold this evening here in west London. Living room won't go above 17 degrees!! Looking forward to snow potential at the weekend. Plastic bags for sledging at the ready!!! Mind you there aren't too many mountains in London. O well.

Where do you have it at the moment?

Am in a ground floor flat in a busy part of town so it has to be hidden from kids / vandals etc. It's 2ft above ground next to a retaining wall about 4ft from kitchen window. But i do have it in a (top with vent holes & bottom open) white plastic shield to try and keep radiative heat from surrounding off the probe housing. I know it's not ideal but i'm very limited in where i can put it and it still be there when I get home from work!
