Just to let you know that with the onset of drought and the total absence of anything approaching cold weather, it's time to bring back the larger regional threads:-

Scotland

Wales

Ireland

North of England

Midlands

East Anglia and the South East

Central Southern & South West England.

This will happen as soon as it gets done...might even be today!

Out of interest, if there is colder weather on the horizon, are the regional regional discussions going to re-open?

Seeing as the weather's not really warmed up at all and we're nearly into what some folk would call 'summer', perhaps we ought to start micro-regional mini-fora so we can all just talk to our neighbours. Oh hang, that's maybe not such a good idea...blum.gif

Here here to all the above. I am in the North East, the North of England thread has been hijacked by Nortwesterners and there is consequently no interest from all us weather watchers in the North East. No offence meant to those in the North West but I don't need to know that the A-whatever road is closed due to flooding, or that Hebden Bridge has got the Willies over dodgy flood defences. PLEASE PLEASE PLEAASE bring back the North East regional thread asap, it's really rubbish without it !!!

If I want to know what is happenning around my local area, there is no point asking as there is nobody from the North East looking.

Thankyou in advance mods (OON?),

Karl

Hi all,

There has recently been an opening of far North, and NW threads, but now I'm a bit stuck. As suggested by a kind soul in the NW thread there was a Yorkshire and Lincolnshire thread last year, so could that be opened back up so we can keep a track on the more local environment?

Thanks all.

Could we break down the areas more as I live in south Lincs which seems to get missed by all the larger area layout
