Very tropical looking skies over Leeds - reminds me of fronts that affected Mallorca in 1999 with very hot air moving in!

Also looks like the weather i had in the Maldives in 2005! amazing cloudy formations!

Went to the coast and it doesn't look like I missed much.

Yet another ridiculously poor day. Very cool and wet with light levels typical of 3pm on a cloudy December day until 2pm when the rain let up but the depressing damp grey muck remained until now when some brightness has filtered through but not a lot.

Currently at the max for the day of 16.9C though most of the day has been no higher than 14C. 10.2mm of rain today with 29.4mm in the past 4 days meaning we have now surpassed our monthly average. The misery just goes on and on and on.........
