All this talk of fireworks has made me realise it won't be long

and then it will be Christmas......

post-10773-0-70210800-1347560525_thumb.j

I already know what I'm going to ask Santa for....

post-10773-0-23829900-1347560579_thumb.j

....it so won't happen but no harm in asking, and at least this year I can honestly say I've been a good girl angel.gif

Did anyone else see the sunset tonight? The way it was shining on the clouds was beautiful.

Beautiful here too. As much as I love the summer (well, you know when it's warm and sunny!), I think I prefer the autumn and winter for the beauty...many more wonderful sunrises, smells and colours. Would have preferred to have a proper summer though and then bring on the decent winter ;-)

Evening folks, a wonderful day here, clear skies until 6ish when some cloud floated in, but a warm afternoon in the end, highs of 18c. Well worth the chilly start.. Wind now picking up here nonono.gif

That's a shame. It was lovely here. Let's hope the sun rises for you soon, i'm sure you'll get a beautiful one if you wait long enough.

I'm not sure that I haven't seen the best there is, maybe I'm too old for sunrises now.......

Yes I did. On the way to Norwich from Ipswich it looked beautiful. Very photogenic and I couldn't take a photo as I was in the car. :(

Still lots of sunny days to come before the cold dark days take over, I just wish the summer had been more like they were when I was a kid. This better be a stonking white Winter or I'll have to choose a new country to call home

I can't see summers ever being quite like that again...

....but I certainly wouldn't mind experiencing a winter like '63 smile.png

We don't get summers OR thunder storms like we used to. it's been a very disappointing summer for storms in EA and lots of other areas. So, let's have some extreme weather like gales and hard frosts and snow 6feet deep to compensate. :D

It's always dark for me, I must be getting up too early then?
