A dry and clear start to last night but increasing cloud from late evening onward brought intermittent light drizzle during the early hours.

Clear spells gave way to cloud advancing from the NW after midnight with the frost lifting. The day dawned cloudy with a few spots of light rain, though soon stopped. The morning to observations has been cloudy with a few brighter patches.

Ground frost lifted soon after midnight as it clouded over.

Spells or rain from 0200, a drier spell midday, before further spells of rain. Cool with a moderate to fresh SW to south wind.
