A few sleet showers early this morning but becoming dry by 1000. The cloud broke and dispersed during the late morning to leave a dry afternoon with sunny periods.

Rugby report:

Clear spells with a ground frost last night, down to around 0c.

Heavy showers this morning. Sunshine by midday.

Drove back this afternoon, sunny to Monmouth, then through sleet and rain showers between Brecon and Sennybridge (3c here), also a single flash of distant lightning there.

Dry with clear spells and a ground frost at home this evening.

Today here:

Clear intervals, few light showers and a slight frost last night.

Very heavy showers 05-0600, probably sleety as it was just 2c. Sunny spells to early afternoon, showers mid afternoon. Clearing this evening.

Clear and smoky, slight breeze, but temperature is still falling away and it's currently 1.4c with a frost forming.
