Agreed gonna give it half an hour more although Summer Blizzard has just reported snow here so may be bit longer!

I'm pretty near the new arena and there are periodic bouts of small snowflakes.

If it's snowing in the city centre, the least likely place in all of Leeds to get snow, then it should snow everywhere else!

If it's snowing in the city centre, the least likely place in all of Leeds to get snow, then it should snow everywhere else!

It's possible there's a small inversion as the road from here to the bus station is a drop of 70m almost and a little higher if you go out.

I'm right at the top of Pudsey and it is definitely snowing with a bit of graupel mixed in....biggrin.png

Given the reports here i'd say it could simply be an intensity issue with sleet to start.

I can hear something falling outside.. must be freezing rain as it sounds hard.

Rain here since 10pm and thats at 1000ft asl.......nearest Ive seen lying snow is at Flash village which is some 600ft higher than here, quite a marginal event really

Still frost covered surfaces in leeds city centre but looks like rain .... From inside bus.

Sleety rain here in south-east sheffield. Quite heavy now since it only started 15mins ago. Reports of heavy snow around castleton/hathersage/fox house area..

awww still just rain here :( good job there is a decent film on tv for me to watch instead of the lampost
