question peeps,are we expecting the event monday night to be all snow in the south east or is there a possabillity of rain because of the occluded front joining from the west??

I believe not, We have to consider that the atlantic is weaker through this period, The block is very strong now and will take some beating,Anything coning from the West will end up under cuts,In to very cold air. Remember the SSW has not completed yet, As before this has the potential to really bring spice to the party. Visual output can be very misguiding after T72, Trends yes, Concrete scenarios (NO). However enjoy what we have now,The next 3 days going to be very interesting and contain the WOW factor.

Gritting teams in Croydon will be covering the following: (A & B Roads / Walk Ways/Pavements). Shift patterns are now in full swing with extra staff on standby. Croydon will see gritting teams out in force Saturday onwards and are on Yellow Alert due to the MetO's advisory
