IMBY I know but any views on how marginal things might be for next week? I'm 10 miles inland from Eastbourne and always worry the sea will b@gger it up for us. FWIW Metcheck has me getting 30+cms of snow next week but unconvinced!

They're using low resolution forecasts charts to show Monday, that's not giving a clear picture. Mondays event will be 100% snow, when the BBC start using the higher resolution graphics I expect the blue will be gone

Not sure, temp seems to be climing slightly, by about .1 an hour.

Temperatures and dew points are rising slightly with the arrival of the rain, so most likely rain or sleet at best, maybe a few flakes over highest ground? Better chance for snow tomorrow evening as much colder air begins to kick in from the east.

Yep Nick is right anything falling overnight will be damp and drizzly in nature. Temps already on the climb as the rain is moving in from the SW.

Here on the Estuary Coast we are sat at 1c and 0c Dewpoint, whereas south of London in the clag it is already 2c and 1c Dewpoint at Biggin Hill.

Further South west and you have 5c and 4c Dewpoint in Southampton.

Winds at the moment variable out here with East South Easterlies swinging to a slight Easterly.

Tomorrow night is when you will feel the chill on yer Jeans when you step outside!
