-4.0°C on the drive scraping the windscreen but down to -6.0°C right the way through East and West Sussex. DP down to -5.7°C at home so game on for tomorrow I reckon!!!!

Well looks like we have had a little upgrade overnight. So most of us could be on for a few cm or so, being cautious. Still would like another shift East from an IMBY perspective!

Morning everyone. I am happy that we have not had the dreaded water droplet appearing on the precip charts yet. The ground is frozen solid, so even if we do only get light snow it should all settle nicely instead of turning into slush!

Latest met office app watch for Reigate for the next 5 days...

After today, it shows light snow for 4 days!!

When looking at detail, it says it will snow 9am Friday to 9pm Saturday... Interestingly it also forecasts heavy snow for midday tomorrow!

Looks to me like we'll see light but persistant snow from early Friday afternoon well into Saturday, with possibly snow showers on Sunday. The GFS then appears to develop another area of snow on Monday which moves up from France toward us and intensifies.

Hoping that the green shown all along the north kent coast on that map is FIRMLY SNOW not RAIN/SNOW. Often note that these charts under cook the cold along that stretch of coast and the result is more often snow - Lets hope so

The ukmo looks as good as ever for snow for us.Even gfs is bit better with the snow reaching the eastcoast.Light to moderate in general,with looks like an heavier area for while about 9oc.Sure all will change in about 2hrs for the next model output

Loving this totally addicted to the updates. Must admit my toes are dropping off at mo so cold.

Think the update from meto later wil be interesting as the nae and nmm really doesn't show much precipitation however ECM gfs and ukmo do

Now at about 36 hours really so should start firming up on now casting lol
