I cant take the anticipation of this event! I'm going to the shop to panic buy beer!

I worked outside all day today, the temperature was all over the place, cold at first then seemed to warm slightly, after lunch when the wind picked up.... wow! cold.gif

Little dandruff flurries on school runs in Henley on Thames with car reading 1.5oC and teachers have told the kids that it's highly unlikely they will be attending school tomorrow...yay! smile.png

Yep thanks for those charts coast. Its worth remembering that Monday could be another 15-20cm day for the same areas with 15-20cm tomorrow. i.e any 1m drifts that block those roads from the rural areas will not *melt away* they will only get worse, much worse.

Monday is looking very interesting too. The only thing I would say, for margin of error, that the depression slides around 50-100 miles further south than what is currently shown.

Brilliant output tonight away from D&C.

If we get a repeat on Monday of what's going to happen overnight and into tomorrow then that would be staggering, if it does pan out like that I wonder if we could get close to the same depths we had here back in Dec 81.

I am a little envious of the counties east of Devon, you are going to get sooo much snow....We seem to be on the boundary of it alot of times :( At least we'll get a good dusting overnight and things could change, you never know
