Just woke up after a kip brand new weather station for Chrismas in Bridgend 70m above sea level temp now 1 degree dew just hit 0 starting to see proper snow now

Thanks for the link. I'm in Grangetown, just up the road. The outside temp looks like it's dropping like a stone.

Huge intensity of precip building off west coast of Pembrokeshire, very heavy snow. This also forming in bristol channel moving towards central and eastern wales aswell.

Precip is now 100% snow. Not heavy yet but it's trying to stick and looks like, with a bit more volume, it will do so easily.

Same here (I guess it would be as your just down the road) temp dropping further now 0.5 and starting to settle on car roofs and windscreens wont be long before a covering

To be fair they did say snow in cardiff by 3am which looks prety spot on I would guess you will have to suffer another 45 min of rain like us in mid glam

Met Office now have Cardiff with heavy snow from 6am until midnight, changing to light snow then until 12pm Saturday. WOW!

Yeah, it's been worrying so far but I was only ever progged to get light snow at 3 and, give or take, that was correct.

this is quite funny - back of my house A470 upper boat tesco, pontypridd - can see in lamp posts extremely heavy snow, front of my house - nothing! guess its just the way the wind is blowing! have to just look out of the back window!!

Started snowing in Kenfig Hill at 3am, wet snow at first, now starting to stick to pavements. Met more or less spot on with times
