Wait for 12z GFS, you may be pleasantly surprised :winky:

Being in the north west from Cambridge we are quite flat but even watching latest forecast has the band going east of Cambridge and into Peterborough and all easten regions. Just not west.

Really coming down now in The Paxtons. A good inch on the ground but 2-3" on the snow that has been sat here all week. Looking good although my other half is currently in Cambridge until 15:00 so hopefully main roads will be clear later.

Completely the same still here. The odd burst of it picking up here and there, but ultimately it's mostly soft and light stuff. Made a good coating now though considering it's been going for a few hours now. Radar looks like it's still swinging in this way too? Heavier would please me greatly, but more hours of this could still probably build up a nice amount that would please me.

Today's amber warning just missed covering us because it doesn't stretch far enough east, Sunday's yellow warning issued, doesn't quite capture us because it doesn't stretch far enough west.

Lucky I am an optimist and think we might do ok from Sunday.

Hi 80 weather it has picked up but we would have been getting more totals from Sundays then we are due out of today's front. : )

been snowing since 9ish...not heavy but constant. Got around 7cm ish....doesnt show any signs of stopping. Very slippery on the roads, even the A1m has the fast lane out......

Spun out of stanmore station, and also skidded a number of times on the way from stanmore to Hatfield....

Be careful out there my fellow 3C&EA ers......

Snow still really fine here but it is pouring down and at an angle of about 45 degrees!

It feels bitter out there.

Heavy snizzle here, not surprised due to the front weakening, if it were rain I would have expected drizzle, especially off a south easterly wind. Maybe it will pep up later

Slowing to a stop now, even though the radar is showing snow all around....been a frustrating day, well below estimated minimum totals. Got around 1cm in the 'drifts'. Nowhere near enough to build a snowman with the kids, kind of gutted but I'm sure I'm not the only one.

We got 4 inches here last night just south east of Ipswich lucky we did as we've had nothing so far today but not complaining
