I've just come home from St Albans towncentre to the SE of the town. All the major roads were fine, but the side roads are a bit slippy as they haven't been gritted.

Thanks. Hopefully it wont be too bad then good.gif

What's the outlook for Peterborough ? Is the snow that is now just reaching east of the A1 further south going to pivet and head north through my parts ?

Not seen a flake yet wallbash.gif

Snowing now in Colchester.

Where abouts are you? I live off Eastwood Drive in the north of the town...should be last to get hit with the direction it's moving.

the heavy stuff is agonisingly close to the west of me. is it likely to push further east throughout the day?

Well me and the neighbour are standing in the garden with electric fans blasting away eastward so you never know !!!

Very very light snow here, looks like rain, barely noticeable until the wind smacks it all into your face.

Been snowing in central-eastern Milton Keynes since about 9.15am and just had a text from the local Primary School to say they're closing today after lunch at 1.30pm.

They NEVER close! Can't remember a time they've ever been shut. So that makes it a pretty memorable weather event in our house already.

If anything slight lighter here in East Herts than maybe 2 hours ago when it started here. As mentioned earlier, looks like this sort of location is on the very edge of the borderline between a bit more heavier stuff and the continued lighter stuff. I was hopeful a little earlier that we might just sneek in to that slightly heavier side. But alas seem like just a bit to the SW that would be the case and remain.

Fasicinating really...

Probably nearer to 10cm here; so I doubt that the front will make much difference. Have you started teaching Nellie all about New Zealand's ubiquitous Celtic settlements, yet??rofl.gif

So here we all are, very happy with what we've got so far and likely to get through the day eh? So shall we look forward to what our French neighbours might just send us then on Sunday?????
