Where are you seeing this Lewis Please ??

Have you got any charts to put in here, must admit not looked at the GFS (Because I bloody well hate it) rofl.gif

Sat afternoon right out to Sunday mornings *snow* looks favourable for some showers perhaps..Whether this will kick off any instability is up for debate.

I have to say that the current set up has surprise snowfalls written all over it ( with the odd disappointment thrown in as well!)

Well we shall see anyway on Sunday, one thing for sure it would be a totally different type of snow should it occur and the decent type for Snowmen with that big claggy wet snowfall and huge chunks!

The difference on Sunday is the strength of any low dewpoints being transported in, I see the 0c line is pretty much across Kent, Sussex and Essex and also with slacker winds I see this as being quite important.

I know why your worrying, having lived alot of my life about 1 mile from the thames, anything that is marginal will make a difference there.

With that being said conditions France is snowy, most of the SE is snowy and that will help to cool the surface airflow. I think the most worrying thing would be the lack of snow cover for your location. Anywhere that has any snow lying on the ground come Sunday should get some snow from this front IF it makes it here (plenty of time to change)

Didn't think it was possible to have 7.5hours of snow falling and not even have an inch covering lol!! So much for the precipitation- conversion rates lol! I bet even central London has more being further West

I measured mine of flat lawn in the middle of the garden

* and the snow, phnar phnar

That sounds the fairest place to measure, imo. Dont forget we're not even midway through the first half in Football terms. 09.00 Monday is cut-off point.

18.00 hours tomorrow, half/time and I promise to put on my best BBC sports presenters voice to give you the scores as they stand!

Concerned now for melt-rate by Mon. morning but don't want to upset members, by changing the goal-posts, again!

Regards,

Tom.

Why do people seriously want snow? Isn't the Uk economy in a messed up state as it is? Another few days/week and things will be a lot worse!

1 cm here.
