UK Outlook for Sunday 3 Feb 2013 to Sunday 17 Feb 2013:

There is greater than average uncertainty throughout this period. The most likely scenario is for conditions at the start of this period to be less cold than at the moment but also on the unsettled side. However, colder weather and below average temperatures then probably come to dominate once more towards mid-month. In terms of rain and snowfall, southern parts in particularly will probably start wetter than average, but trend to nearer normal by mid-month, while the north will probably see drier than average conditions for much of the period. Meanwhile, the frequency of snow events during this period may be greater than average.

Still got the dandruff type here - there is a gap of little or lighter precipation between the streamer to the west and a small blob of precip out to my east.

this snow is only really settling on vegetation.. and the temperature is rising.. much of whats on the ground is being 'washed away'

Unless there is a push North from the main band this will be over soon.

Oh and my temp. went down to 0.1 in the early stages.

It has now shot up to 1.0

Bearing in mind this airmass has come from Portugal it's only realistic to expect some higher temps than as of late, but with this scenario the cold air will always win. Now its a case of seeing how west/east the snow goes.

Temperature is continuing to rise here. Currently 2.1c

It's all due to the wind coming from the north sea. It is expected to ease around 6pm.

The main band id going to affect us tonight guys and it is currently in the southeast. This finger of precipitation is a temporary thing.
