Snow starting to turn lighter here now, but thats 12 hours ago it started here. Just been out and we have definitely had about 14cms fall here through the day, pretty remarkable, and I can only guess that the slight elevation here has helped us.

Looks like the risk of some more snow for a time tomorrow evening too

Drifting like mad out there now, my footprints have re-covered 3 times already!

Mist snow I've seen in a fair while and 3 hours more to come?

I reckon there are a few unpassable roads already in the minor villages, fun drive in to work in the morning. And Norwich is just as bad apparently.

Still snowing here looking at the Radar I'm under some sort of streamer and still keeping its intensity although I don't suspect that to last long at all.

8cm NAE accumulated predictions were bang on target here!

SK, totally agree, I have been in Saff Walden for 28 years and cannot remember a whole daylight time with snow. It isn`t all about the depth peeps.

I have a whole day of images for my time-lapse. Will post when complete.

Continues to snow here, and it continues to settle on main roads.

Roads are really bad J. Snow fall seems to have increased.

Small flakes falling in Welwyn Garden... Thought it was going to stop hours ago but keeps going. Travelling to Stevenage in the morning will be fun.

Saint I thought I'd lose it from the West here in East Herts but looking like South its weaker. Whereas your location now seems to have some decent backup.

Just been out with the ruler. 18cm total snow depth, 8cm on a surface I cleared this morning. Not bad, and still it comes.

How long do you think we've got left saint of this event?

I don't really know, I expected it to stop about 2 hours ago, but it is continuing, and is still back building.
