We have a good snowfall now , but it's not sticking , not sure of dew point but air temp is 0.5c, could do with it getting colder

Reading Backtracks posts since friday and it seemed to snow for 24 hours, and that is all there is?

Melted surprisingly fast mate, you can ask the guys who live around this area. It's stupid how much has gone.

Encouraging to hear places as far west as St Helens and even Liverpool are recording snowfall as it bodes very well for us. I'm going to remain very cautious though after getting my hopes up on Friday far too much. It will be a very pleasant surprise if I wake up tomorrow to a snow cover.

Temps today maxed out at 2 degrees, indeed over recent days whilst it has been cold we haven't seen temps below -2 degrees since Tuesday, and there has been no frost or ice to speak of, so whilst it is certainly a cold spell of weather - it doesn't feel or look particularly wintry.

That's a p**S take..well,at least someone 's getting something, enjoy it mate. It is just making the ground wet here really, there's a bit of accumalation on the grass and where there's ice.

Fell bad for you, no fun when everyone is getting snow and you're not!!

I will find you, and I will kill you.

Tried to *like* your post, but I've run out! Still laughing!!!!!

This is pitiful - tiny flakes of dandruff still falling for the past hour. Would prefer rain than this as its just teasing! Still not have more than 1cm here for 2 years now!

Really, what about last feb, there was an inch or so round here that admitedly went quite fast. Edited by greybing
