hi ice the closest you can get are the raw ukmo fax charts

check bottom right chart

you will get an idea from that drinks.gif

Cheers John. To my untrained eye, if that was to verify it looks pretty good for our region?

very good clapping.gif

That'll do for me.

Right, that's it for me tonight, let's hope for some consistency from UKMO and ECM tomorrow, and hopefully the GFS will be put out of it's (and our) misery once and for all!

Evening all. :) The snow here this evening was just nuisance value earlier and turned to rain. I'm definitely getting the feeling that late Sunday and Monday are a time to watch, as has been pointed out in many posts.

Tomorrow's weather: Sunrise, sunset and in between there will be a chance of wind, snow, rain, hail, sleet, or tornadoes, and I'm never wrong!

Oh and a new thread will be opening up too !!

I'm reading back through the posts now and can see one or two sarcastic ones aimed at JP. All I'd say is what's the point in them? He's very unlikely to have posted badly about those people, so I don't get it. A great contributor to this thread imho.good.gif

thanks steve

i am pretty thick skinned

i actually take it as a bit of banter so not worried

at the end of the day, the time they invent an accurate forecast model

will make these threads very boring

Stalling front over the west of our region on Thursday night with favourable uppers. Worth keeping an eye on how this one develops?

Hi John, do you have any worries about the shortwave on GFS, if its right could it change all the model outlooks next week?

hi

i would normally trust gfs to about 180 hours

cannot go past 90 hours at present without feeling it looks wrong

follow fax now that will be the best route

tomorrow nights fax will show monday which idrinks.gif s the one im following
