Moderate sleet this morning turned to moderate rain proper this afternoon with a high of 1.9c in a moderate south easterly.

However the rain turned back to sleet/wet snow soon after dark making for blizzard like conditions in the gusty easterly and there is already a good covering on local side roads.

All in all a truly foul day, wonder what a local from Hawaii or somewhere like Western Samoa would make of the weather here today!
