Clear sky for most of the night allowed a sharp frost with ground quite frozen by dawn and a min of -2.9c, however it was already clouding over and the day is cloudy though bright with some lightbulb sun.

    Gentle NE breeze, 3.9c .

Thick freezing fog overnight with a layer of rime on everything this morning. The min temp of -1.9C was actually the lowest of the month.

Currently rather cloudy with sunny spells and a temp of 5.6C.

Yesterday managed 8.5hrs of sunshine, taking the month above the 1981-2010 average. You wouldnt think so as the sunshine has been concentrated at both ends of the month.

Another glorious day after a frost this morning (air) with the ground frost in evidence from about 2200 yesterday.

I could happily take this weather for a week or more at any time of the winter half of the year!

After another glorious sunny and frosty morning light cloud has spilled down from the North. Milder too at 9C from a low of -2.3C. Rather disappointing after such a sunny week. Tonight might be our first night this week without an air frost.
