Looking good for my location- still 0.7C with fat snowflakes coming down and a steady supply coming up from the SE.

Hmmmm the NAE is looking pretty good

5cm of snow projected for low ground over west Yorkshire.

Checked outdoors, about two centimetres on most grassy surfaces now, still struggling to settle on concrete although the road in my street now has a dusting.

Think we'll have to wait until the early hours for the heavier precipitation to arrive here, but we've done alright so far.

Well I didn't think there was any chance of snow here tonight as it's been far too warm and with a wind off the sea. But there's a little sleetiness in it now and a gritter went through the village recently, though probably just salting the higher roads, which is a bit of a waste of salt at the moment.

seroiusly though, am i missing something?

why is the front moving N/NW? forecast is for it to be coming from the NE down across all of Yorkshire. Is the wind going to change overnight?
