A dry morning with sunny periods and gradually developing Cu. A few flakes of snow at times during the early afternoon from passing Cu but any convection was suppressed by increasing high level cloud from 1400 and the rest of the afternoon was cloudy and dry.

Clear with a severe frost last night, the coldest night of 'Winter'.

Dry with sunny periods today, a light to moderate south to SW breeze. Milder than of late.

Min: -10.2c @ 0600

Max: 8.4c @ 1500

Rain yesterday: 0.7mm

Dry so far today

Currently: Clear intervals.

Temp: 3.7c

RH: 84%

Pressure: 1014mbar, falling.

Of note is that during the past 29 days, less than 5mm has fallen which makes it a partial drought (at least 29 consecutive days averaging below 0.2mm). No doubt this contributed to the severity of the frost last night with the ground now so dried out locally.

Cold, clear and frosty this morning after a few moderate snow showers earlier in the night. It was then partly cloudy with long spells of sunshine until the afternoon when it turned overcast with a short spell of moderate rain in the evening.

Max Temp: 7.1C

Min Temp: -2.3C

Max Gust: 16mph

Mean Wind: 8mph SW

Rainfall: 0.6mm

Snowfall: A light dusting at 0900

Currently 3.7C and 87% humidity.

I was actually not far from your neck of the woods today TM and noted a rather impressive -6C in the car in one of the valleys just after 8am and there was a short spell of snow in the afternoon. Interesting to see that while it was 7C at home!
