yeah the direct sun today is denting it even up here, but in the shade, its still very deep, especialy on the grass etc

looks like another dry week coming up and with sunny days and temps around 7c i think were gradualy going to see the snow disappearing :(

sad realy as there is no snow mentioned, i think we're just going to see this cold spell get mixed out gradualy without a snowy breakdown which is a shame as that will not do it justice i think!

Have we already seen the last snowfall of this winter? im starting to think yes :(

Last snowfall? Nope! Had a light shower this afternoon. I know what you mean, though anything is possible yet, including widespread heavy falls. Not a prediction, but a possibility.

I'm down at Skegness and I can confirm it's absolutely freezing.

Sun was out earlier but didn't make much difference.

Quite pleasant in Hornsea but then I took a warm jacket. Sun was strong enough just to start burning me so I was glad of the shower clouds building. Different world out there as soon as you get to eastern Sheffield the snow amounts drop a lot then once on the M18 I didn't see any Snow at all until I got on the tops towards Beverly then nothing again down to Beverly. Then I come back and you've got people slipping on the pavements by Graves park total contrast. Last night we hit -4.7C which dropped the average for March down to 1.7C. The coldest month since Dec 2010 the coldest march we've ever recorded.

All snow now gone here, except where it has been shifted to. Was up in Fulwood on Saturday and there was still 10cm of snow, although im guessing by today a lot of that will be gone!

Here on the edge of Leeds City Center i can just see two very small patches and one larger patch. All highly shaded from the morning sun and the bigger is shaded from the afternoon soon mostly by a tree.

What an odd few days. The sunshine has been great. We've had the usual bank holiday weekend moped festival, the pictures from last year look the same with glorious sunshine. The only difference being about 17C!

The town has been heaving and i can quite safely say it's the first time iv'e seen the beaches so busy whilst it's been so cold. It was pretty funny too seeing most of the die hard tourists refusing to leave the beach even when it started snowing!

We've had quite a few flurries which was surprising because it felt quite warm in the sun. I even mowed the lawn only to be interrupted by a brief snow shower!

There are still snow drifts on the fields around west Doncaster and Rotherham! Very impressive for this time of the year!

I doubt much will have melted even now. We've still got 2-3 foot drifts in the back garden.
