Yes, today is the 19th consecutive day. The previous longest spells since my records began in 1963 were 15 days from 3rd-17th Feb' 1983 and Jan 26th-Feb 9th 1986. The current spell is all the more remarkable in that it's occurred wholly in March.

A cloudy night with light, occasionally moderate, snow showers which have given a fresh fall of 1.5cm.No significant drifting snow here for the first time since Friday.

Currently light snow showers and occasional brighter intervals.

The brightest day since last Wednesday!

The morning dawned clear and sunny before Cumulus developed from 10.00 and this cloud has brought a few snow flurries recently.

A cloudier day than yesterday with frequent light-moderate showers of snow and snow pellets some of which gave a thin cover of fresh snow this morning. A few sunny intervals from late morning through to late afternoon.

Some bare patches have appeared on the tops where the wind scoured the snow down to the last 1 or 2cm.

Just missed out on another ice day today.
